The Destination

A new tourism zone in Addu City shaped by accessibility, coastal character and a growing hospitality vision.

Feydhoo Tourism Zone

The Feydhoo Tourism Zone is a planned tourism development within Addu City designed to create a connected destination for accommodation, dining, recreation and visitor services.

Rather than functioning as an isolated private-island resort, the tourism zone is positioned within the living island environment of Feydhoo, allowing guests to experience a more accessible and locally connected side of the Maldives.

The wider development is planned to accommodate approximately 740 tourist beds and is intended to support the continued growth of tourism in Addu through a mix of hospitality offerings, leisure facilities and curated guest experiences.

Why Addu

Addu Atoll offers a tourism experience that is distinct from many other destinations in the Maldives. It combines ocean beauty with inhabited island culture, a strong local identity, historical significance and a sense of place that feels different from the typical resort model.

Visitors to Addu can explore beaches, marine life, island communities, local cafés, roads connecting inhabited islands and a range of natural and cultural experiences that are not always available in more isolated settings.

This makes Addu especially appealing to travellers looking for a destination that feels both scenic and grounded, where comfort and exploration go hand in hand.

The Bay’s Role in the Development

The Bay by Premier forms a key part of the Feydhoo Tourism Zone and will contribute 292 beds to the wider development.

The project is designed to serve as one of the main accommodation and guest-experience anchors within the zone, supported by dining, wellness, recreation and service offerings that help shape the destination as a whole.

As the tourism zone grows, The Bay is intended to function not only as a place to stay, but as an integrated hospitality base for exploring southern Maldives experiences.

Development and Management

The Bay is owned by Feydhoo Retreat Private Limited.

Premier Property serves as the manager of the project and also holds a majority shareholding in Feydhoo Retreat, giving it a central role in the development and operation of the destination.

The Bay will be the hospitality brand used for the hotel and guest experience within this tourism offering.
